We certainly have had a busy weekend. Bridgette came for a sleepover as her Mum was off to a stamp party and it was lovely having her here with us. On Saturday Trish collected Bridgette after lunch and stayed for a cuppa.
As Phil is a dye in the wool Carlton supporter we decided to go and see them play Hawthorn at the Telstra Dome on Saturday night. Not such a good night for Phil but was a good chance to have a look at both sides and especially the new young recruits at Carlton. Have to say was very pleased with the Saints effort beating the Cats in Canberra, got to see a bit of the game before we headed out. Looks like some of our young players are performing well and you never know we might get to taste success this year.
Sunday saw the Kelly's and Clark's around for a sausage sizzle at lunch time. A good chance to catch up as we have all had very busy summers especially with the kids being away at the caravan park or speedway so was nice to be altogether for a couple of hours, only one missing was Melanie who was working.
